                                     LOST GENERATION
 we all know that World War first is known as the great war because it change the entire world. Lot of blood shed happened during World War first and different country reacted in different ways.War poets  are the poets from Britain who are shocked to see the horrifying effects of  the World War first.
 The same kind of attitude was shown by the American writers the first world war on the great War Chains Americans attitude in ways that was not anticipated after having witnessed death destruction on an unparalleled scale mainly young Americans filter sense of shock after looking at this pointless death  and barbaric practice during the first world war.
This scope of Writers who shown their discontent at the first world war who felt this illusional unfamiliar post war world war are known as lost generation.

The term lost generation was introduced by Gertrude stein. Who is the modernist American writer she is started to live in Paris and give title lost generation. The term lost generation was made popular by Ernest Hemingway who was a friend of Gertrude stein and  he use this level as an epigraph in his Novel" Sun also Rises" 

lost generation refers to the group of men and women who came of age during World War first and who felt disillusion to see the unfamiliar post war world. lost generation is specifically a group of American writers most of these writers immigrated to Europe and worked dear from the end of world war 1st until the "Great Depression"1930's between World War1st to Great Depression.
